Chip'r Days 2026

Around Glacier, we know that living in the woods is part of what makes this place special. It's also what makes wildfire preparedness so important.

Glacier Fire & Rescue is launching Chip’r Days to help neighbors reduce wildfire risk while keeping our community looking its best. The idea is simple: spend some time cleaning up brush, small trees, and other vegetation around your home, then bring the material to our collection site and we'll take care of the chipping. Creating defensible space around homes is one of the most effective ways to improve wildfire resilience.

The resulting wood chips will be available to community members upon request.
